The Corporate Fellows Program, established in 1988, promotes the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the private sector and governors on public policy issues affecting business and states. As a Corporate Fellow, your contribution supports the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) and positions you and your colleagues as intellectual resources for providing governors ideas that work.
Participation in the program demonstrates Your company’s commitment to improving cooperation and understanding between state government and the business community through development of bipartisan, collaborative solutions to issues affecting our nation.
At the 2011 NGA Annual Meeting, General Motors and Sanofi-Aventis were recognized for reaching milestones in their membership as NGA Corporate Fellows. The awards were presented by then-NGA Chair Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire and then- Vice Chair and current NGA Chair Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman.
