NGA's Office of Management Consulting and Training (OMCT) sponsored a webcast for governors' staff and governors' spouses' staff on the topic of transitioning out of office. This webcast was offered in light of the record number of gubernatorial elections in 2010 and the large class of governors leaving office. Transitioning out of office is a unique stage in the lifecycle of a governor's administration and having the right tools and information can help make this transition as smooth and successful as possible.
