The NGA Center convened a meeting on integrating energy, economic and environmental goals as they relate to energy efficiency, air quality, and GHG reductions.

This meeting gathered governors' policy advisors as well as state air quality, energy and GHG policy experts to examine innovative state policy mechanisms that address energy, economic and environmental issues and achieve multiple benefits. We explored the approaches states have taken to capture cost savings, promote economic development, contribute to energy independence, reduce emissions, and generate air quality and public health benefits.
