Governors Send Letter to Congressional Leadership on FMAP
During the 2010 NGA Winter Meeting, forty-seven governors sent a letter to congressional leaders asking for a two quarter extension of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's (ARRA) enhanced federal match for Medicaid (FMAP). The letter also urges Congress to modify ARRA’s existing maintenance of effort to provide states more flexibility to manage their Medicaid programs.

The Consortium for Energy Efficiency released a report showing a 43 percent growth in U.S. utilities’ spending on energy efficiency programs from 2008 to 2009.
NGA Welcomes Governors to 2010 Winter Meeting
