EXPERTISE

Duties: Berman is Program Director of the Education division, which provides information and technical assistance on best practices in early childhood, elementary and secondary, and postsecondary education. She directs and supports projects focusing on several key policy issues, including redesigning high schools, preventing and recovering school dropouts, ensuring quality extra learning opportunities, improving school choice options, benchmarking state education systems and raising literacy achievement.
