Department of Agriculture (USDA)

Department of Commerce

• The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has posted guidance and information on Coastal and Marine Habitat Restoration Projects: http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/habitat/recovery/index.htm.

• The Commerce Department on March 10 released guidelines for $150 million in competitive grants, of which $50 million is set-aside for economic adjustment assistance, under the EDA’s Economic Development Assistance Program. For more information, contact EDA regional offices (http://www.eda.gov).

Department of Education

• The Department of Education has posted initial summary guidance concerning funds under the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund, NCLB Title I Part A, and IDEA. http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/leg/recovery/index.html

• The U.S. Department of Education posted additional information on its Web page containing guidance as to how schools can use State Stabilization dollars for school modernization projects under the stimulus package. Department of Labor

• The Treasury Department has released guidance on the stimulus law's new taxable Build America Bond and Recovery Zone Economic Development Bond programs, as well as allocations for the qualified zone academy bond and qualified school construction bond tax-credit programs.
