On March 31st, the NGA Center for Best Practices held its monthly meeting of the State Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Working Group.  The purpose of the March 2009 Energy Working Group webinar was to give states a chance to hear from Department of Energy (DOE) officials and other experts about the latest implementation news related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), as well as other clean energy funding opportunities.

Experts from the U.S. Department of Energy representing both the US DOE Offices of Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs and the Clean Cities Program participated in the webinar.  In addition to the presentations (see links below), this call also gave states a chance to ask DOE officials questions about key energy provisions contained in the ARRA and other funding opportunities.  For more information, see the agenda and links to presentation material.
