Amy Pettigrew

NGA Office of Meeting Management

Amy Pettigrew serves as a meeting planner in NGA’s Office of Meeting Management. She plans and implements meetings for NGA’s Center for Best Practices as well as NGA Consulting.

Prior to joining NGA, Pettigrew worked for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) where she managed their National awards programs/events, coordinated in-person and on-line education, supervised event registration and assisted with multiple special events including the White House Easter Egg Roll and USTA meetings/conferences. She previously worked for Teachers College, Columbia University where she served as Area Director. In addition, she has worked for The Walt Disney Company, Special Olympics North America and NBA All-Star Weekend.

Amy has a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and tourism management with a minor in business management from NC State. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2017. She is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). Amy currently serves on the Board of Directors for North Carolina State’s (NC State) Alumni Association.

Amy resides in Washington, D.C., and originally hails from NY.
