Jesse Kannam serves as a program assistant for NGA Education with NGA Solutions: The Center for Best Practices. Prior to joining NGA, Jesse worked for the American Youth Policy Forum as a policy associate. In this role, she helped conceptualize, prepare and execute professional learning events to better inform local, state and federal policymakers about education policy issues. While at AYPF, she worked on issues related to re-engagement of out-of-school youth, alternative education, accountability, postsecondary and workforce opportunities for system-involved youth, and out-of-school time learning.
Jesse holds a bachelor’s degree in American studies from Connecticut College and hails from Massachusetts.
