Kandis Driscoll serves as a senior policy analyst in Economic Opportunity Division for NGA Solutions: The Center for Best Practices. In this role, Kandis lends her expertise in human services to support governors and state leaders in advancing the economic mobility of families. She specifically focuses on social service programs and the two-generation approach. Kandis has dedicated her career to using policy to improve the health and well-being of communities of color.
Kandis joins NGA from the DC Department of Human Services (DHS) where she worked on improving the supports and services available to families receiving cash assistance through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program. Before moving to the District, Kandis worked as a regional workgroup director in Los Angeles where she facilitated statewide meetings on enhancing healthcare delivery systems and improving local access to health services. She holds a Master of Public Policy from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science from Loyola Marymount University.
