Katie Greene serves as program director for the NGA Solutions: The Center for Best Practices Health Division, focusing on issues related to opioids and substance use disorders, infectious disease and other public health issues.
Prior to joining NGA, Greene served as a managing associate at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy. She also served as senior policy advisor and associate director of the Office of Intergovernmental and Public Liaison at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, a state-federal liaison at the Department of Homeland Security, and deputy director of federal relations for Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.
Greene holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
