Reza Zomorrodian serves as a Policy Analyst for the NGA Center for Best Practices’ Homeland Security and Public Safety Division. Zomorrodian focuses on issues pertaining to the homeland security space and works closely with the Governors’ Homeland Security Advisors Council (GHSAC) to provide public policy solutions and support for the Governors’ top homeland security advisors.

Prior to joining NGA, Zomorrodian worked in policy management consulting for partners in the Department of Homeland Security. Zomorrodian has also previously worked in the White House for Vice President Biden’s Domestic and Economic Policy team, on the policy team for the House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, and at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) studying defense acquisition networks.

Zomorrodian holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of California, Irvine.
