Transportation electrification is growing across the country, and Governors are taking steps to advance electric vehicle (EV) adoption, including the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure plans. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act’s (IIJA) National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program will help further these efforts by providing funding for states to strategically deploy EV charging infrastructure and to establish an interconnected network to facilitate data collection, access, and reliability.
