The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) hosted its annual Health Policy Advisors Institute at the Snowbird Resort and Conference Center in Utah. The meeting provides a unique opportunity for Governors’ Health Policy Advisors and Health Secretaries from across the country to come together to learn from one another and to share cutting edge policies and programs. Sessions included discussion of federal-level health reform, strategic program communications, broad interventions for opioid addiction and state experience with high-need, high-cost patient programs.
