As COO, Czerwinski brings extensive experience managing large organizations and evaluating federal policy, especially relating to state and local governments. During his federal career, including 19 years in the Senior Executive Service, he developed and executed the budget for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) and administered its financial, procurement, facility and security activities. He also authored several hundred reports and testified before Congress on issues such as state and local fiscal condition, states and localities uses of Recovery Act funds and viability of the non-profit sector. He has had numerous television, radio and print interviews.
Czerwinski is responsible for all administrative and financial aspects of NGA. He oversees its annual budget, financial operations, grant and contract management, human resources, information technology and conference management.
