About
Michigan’s first gentleman, Dr. Marc Mallory was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in zoology from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan’s Dental School.
He maintains a dental practice in Lansing, which he opened in 1986. Dr. Mallory and his wife, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, have five children: sons Alex, Mason and Winston, and daughters, Sherry and Sydney.
