Spouse: Gov. Mike Parson
Teresa Parson, First Lady of Missouri, has a longstanding commitment to education and public service.
After working for 40 years in the banking industry, Mrs. Parson retired in 2016 and has dedicated herself to volunteering and serving her community. She has served on the boards of the Bolivar Juvenile Detention Center, A+ Program, Industrial Development Authority, Bolivar Chamber of Commerce, and she volunteers with the Relay for Life.
The first lady and her husband, Governor Mike Parson, have served as board co-chairs of the Jobs for America’s Graduates-Missouri, Inc. (JAG-Missouri). Together, they have highlighted the importance of financial literacy and money management to the next generation of leaders.
The Parsons have two children and five grandchildren. The first lady is a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar.
