Gwen Walz is an English teacher at Mankato West Senior High School. Throughout her career, Gwen has taught in public, alternative, and migrant schools. For more than two decades, Gwen served as an administrator/coordinator in the Mankato Area Public Schools. She and her husband, Governor Tim Walz, also previously operated Educational Travel Adventures, Inc., leading annual educational trips to China for American high school students. Governor Walz and Gwen have two children, Gus and Hope.
