On February 14, 2018, the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices Education division and WestEd held a webinar focused on early care and education (ECE) finance. The webinar highlighted key issues and trends in school funding that can influence the future of financing early learning. WestEd speakers included Jason Willis, Director of Strategy and Performance; Alexander Berg-Jacobsen, School Performance & System Transformation Specialist; Kelsey Krausen, Senior Research Associate and Judy Ennis, Senior Program Associate. These experts discussed the current landscape of ECE funding and offered strategies and resources for states to address the most pressing issues surrounding financing early education.
