Opening Workshop on Policy Academy on Power Sector Modernization

February 1-3, 2017 | San Diego, CA

The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) held an opening workshop as part of the Power Sector Modernization Policy Academy. The workshop provided information to state policymakers on the latest trends and policy ideas in the field, as well as targeted information for state-specific questions.  The four state teams participating in the policy academy are Kentucky, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington.  In order to share information about the field across a wide array of states, representatives from other states were invited to attend as observers for the first two days.
