National Governors Association Chair Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe kicked off the 2017 NGA Summer Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island, with a discussion on how states continue to develop strategies to thwart cyber threats. Vice President of the United States Mike Pence and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed more than 30 of the nation’s governors at the 109th Summer Meeting. On the final day, Incoming NGA Chair Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval joined Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX for the final plenary session.
