This webinar explored sustainable funding alternatives, such as Mileage Based User Fees (MBUFs) or Road Use Charges (RUCs), that several states have begun to experiment with. In this funding model, drivers pay a specific amount per mile driven on the roadways, rather than the amount of fuel consumed. The speakers discussed the transportation funding situation staring down the states, why states are looking at the RUC/MBUF alternative and the pilots and studies being undertaken across the country.
