Governors are working to reduce health disparities across the 55 states and territories. The NGA Center is supporting this important work through the State Efforts to Address and Communicate Best Practices on Health Equity project. Through this project, the NGA Center is identifying strategies Governors are currently using to address and communicate about health equity to reduce health disparities for people with disabilities, people of all races and ethnicities, and rural populations. This work is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
