WASHINGTON, D.C. – NGA Chair Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt and Vice Chair Maryland Governor Wes Moore have issued the following statement following the tragic shooting of National Guard members in Washington, D.C.:
“Our hearts and prayers are with the West Virginia National Guard members and their families following today’s senseless act of violence.
“We stand united in condemning violence in all forms. We urge all Americans to join together in a spirit of peace and unity.”
