NGA Solutions: The Center for Best Practices, in partnership with The Pew Charitable Trusts, hosted a Bidders Call/Webinar on the Request for Proposals (RFP) for states interested in applying to participate in an NGA-Pew Policy Academy on Business Regulations. Through this upcoming project, a cohort of states will work to strengthen their economies by improving business regulations. NGA Solutions, Pew and external experts will provide technical assistance to selected states over a two-year period. During the call, speakers discussed the importance of state business regulations, the policy academy benefits for states, the important Pew research on this topic, the anticipated policy academy process and state proposal content and selection criteria.
