NGA, the National Association of Counties and other organizations today announced an agreement that will offer public agencies access to a reduced-price, potentially lifesaving opioid withdrawal nasal spray. The FDA-approved Narcan nasal spray will now be offered at a 40-percent discount, or $37.50 per dose. The announcement was made during a White House Office of National Drug Control Policy community forum on the opioid epidemic in Knox County, Tennessee.
