The state of Idaho, in partnership with the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) Environment, Energy, & Transportation and Homeland Security and Public Safety Divisions hosted a retreat on policies and strategies to improve disaster resilience and evaluate the NGA State Resilience Assessment and Planning (SRAP) Tool. The objectives of the retreat are to:
- Examine opportunities for improving state resilience planning;
- Explore relevant policy and program models;
- Foster collaboration and communication across state entities; and
- Discuss the use of the SRAP tool for evaluating Idaho’s resilience preparations.
These objectives will feed into broader energy assurance planning to be undertaken by Idaho.
