Kimberly Hauge

Senior Policy Analyst
Economic Opportunity Division

Kimberly Hauge is a senior policy analyst for Economic Opportunity at NGA Solutions. Through NGA, she aids governors’ staff and state policymakers on building and strengthening the workforce of the future.

Kimberly partners with senior state officials to identify and address barriers to employment among under-served populations, to improve access to employer-driven work-based learning and apprenticeship at high-growth jobs, and to provide opportunities for continuous learning throughout one’s career. Most recently, Kimberly staffed the 2018-2019 NGA Chair’s Initiative led by Montana Governor Steve Bullock, Good Jobs for All Americans.

Prior to joining NGA, Kimberly was program officer at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies at Johns Hopkins where she led the Young Leaders’ Group for the Development of the U.S. Workforce. Before that, she was an education consultant at the OECD in Paris analyzing access to school choice in multiple countries.

Kimberly received her master’s degree from the Political Science Institute of Paris (Sciences-Po, Paris) and her B.A. in political science and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
