Kristin Baddour

Kristin Baddour serves as a policy analyst on the Economic Opportunity team of the National Governors Association’s Center for Best Practices. At NGA, Kristin provides technical assistance to Governors’ staff and state policymakers on workforce development issues including work-based learning, occupational licensing and apprenticeships.

Before joining NGA, Kristin was a program associate at Council of Chief State School Officers, where her work with state education agencies focused on the intersection of education and workforce development. She worked on the New Skills for Youth project, which aimed to increase the number of students completing pathways. Prior to that, Kristin interned at Participate, The Hunt Institute and North Carolina Department of Justice.

Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
