Michelle LeBlanc serves as a program assistant in NGA’s Center for Best Practices Health Division. In this role, she supports projects through administrative support, stakeholder communications and event planning and logistics.
Prior to joining NGA, Michelle managed human resources activities for division faculty as a program coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care. As a fellow for an Alabama health policy group, Michelle supported efforts to educate candidates on key health issues affecting the state. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Michelle supported research on social determinants associated with pre-term birth.
Michelle received her BS from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she is currently pursuing a master of public health with a specific focus on maternal and child health.
