Washington, DC | June 4 – 5, 2019
NGA Energy, Infrastructure & Environment hosted a workshop on June 4 and 5 in Washington, DC, on the topic of advanced transportation technology. The workshop helped state participants explore key questions around transportation technology, such as: what is the future of mobility, how can communications and data support innovation, how can states enable an equitable transportation future, and other emerging questions. The workshop provided state staff with the chance to hear from experts in the field and current and former state and federal transportation leaders, including several state transportation department chief executives. The workshop was co-located with ITS America’s Annual Meeting, which provided participants the opportunity to attend the keynote session, explore the innovative technologies on the show floor, and sit in on technical sessions.
