National Institute on Scaling Work-Based Learning

Date: April 8-10, 2019

Location: Point Clear, Alabama

Abstract:  National Governors Association Solutions: The Center for Best Practices (NGA Solutions) hosted a national institute bringing together representatives from 30 states and one territory to address challenges to and discuss innovative solutions for scaling work-based learning programs. The event began with a pre-meeting on April 8, which was open only to state teams involved in the NGA Solutions Policy Academy on Scaling Work-Based Learning; other states outside of that cohort, as well as other subject-matter experts joined for the April 9-10 institute.
